A healthy belief
Web Design and Development - Web Design

Our web design specialists strongly believe that a users first impression must be breathtaking or none. We love making beautiful websites and strive to make each project better than the previous one.

Web design is not only about eye catching graphic elements, respecting the principles and making the customers experience as easy as possible. It’s about that “last touch” other web designers in Ohio seem to have failed to notice.

Web3box wants to make Ohio’s web truly astonishing - Wants and will accomplish this!

Colors

...are the way light reflects onto objects that are around us and there are millions of colors so our team of web designers thinks that choosing the right shade must be done from millions of options not just the 3-4 that you see on all other websites, especially in Ohio.

Typography

...is the dullest part of web design, some would say! Well, better yet don’t take our word for it. Just check out 10 random picked websites and we guarantee that 9 of those use the same old 10 to12 fonts for their headings. Our web designers have long ago said STOP! We must bring a breath of fresh air in this particular field and so they have done with each web design project for our customers in Ohio.

Images

...are essential in and web design project. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but one has to be careful not to say a thousand bad words. We use only stock photography for our web design projects and we plan and analyze the impact that each photo would have on the potential customer.

Boxes

...seem to be taken for granted by many web designers nowadays but very few have actually studied the impact that a modular (boxed) layout has on the potential customers experience. We strongly believe that content organisation is essential, as a crowded content is very hard to understand and thus rendered useless. That’s why we focus on placing each element in the website by following strict rules that have been proven to work in the web design business.

Icons and indicators.

Studies in web design1 have shown that an arrow increases the effectiveness of a link by 50%. In other words if a link is preceded by an iconic representation of the users action then the user is more likely to click on that link. Web3box makes full use of this in it’s web design projects with 100% custom made icons for each project.

Example usage of icons - Web3Box, Ohio

Table-less design.

Old and outdated websites like most of those that you will find that Ohio based businesses have, are built using tables. We believe that this is no longer an option for modern, Search Engine Optimized websites as this technique slows down the loading process and confuses search engine spiders. Web3Box uses tables only for information that is supposed to be organized in a table-like structure.

W3C Standards.

Many say that one web browser is better then another just because it ignores a designers errors and displays the website correctly. This is not entirely true. All web browsers will display perfectly if it is designed according to the W3C Standards. Web3box takes this very seriously not only because your customers experience should be flawless regardless of their browser choice but also because it is impossible to predict if a future browser will display the website without errors unless it has been designed according to the already mentioned standards.

Eye candies.

Building hundreds of projects for our Ohio based customers and not only would have became routine and thus would have affected our web designers imagination if they wouldn’t have made each web design project just a little bit special by using “eye candy effects”. Our scripting languages specialists, that are familiar with all major frameworks such as jQuery and Moo-Tools love to animate stuff across your website and make it a unique web design project.
